Groupe Chanv respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information the chanv.com website collects, for what purposes, and how to exercise your rights, in accordance with Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector.
Information we collect
The website only collects personal information that you send us yourself, through its two forms:
- Contact us: name, email, subject and message, and, if you wish, the name of your company;
- Careers: name, email, position or field of interest, message and résumé in PDF format, and, if you wish, your phone number.
You can also write to us directly at info@chanv.com. No information is collected without your knowledge.
How we use it
This information is used only to answer your request or to review your application. It is never sold, rented or traded, and is never used for marketing.
Consent
Each form asks you to tick a box to agree that your information may be used to process your request; nothing is sent without this consent. You may withdraw it at any time by writing to info@chanv.com.
Cookies and analytics
The website uses no cookies and no analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and loads no third-party content. Like any website, our servers record technical data (IP address, page requested, date and time, browser type) to keep the site secure and working properly; these logs are not used to identify you and are kept for a limited time.
Links to LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and the media outlets we cite lead to websites that apply their own privacy policies.
Access and hosting
Only the Groupe Chanv staff handling your request, or recruitment in the case of an application, have access to your information. The website is hosted by Google Cloud in data centres located in the United States: your information may therefore be processed outside Quebec, by providers bound to keep it confidential and secure.
Retention and security
Your information is kept only as long as needed to process your request or the recruitment process, then securely destroyed, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. Exchanges with the website are encrypted (HTTPS) and access to the information is limited to the people who need it.
Your rights
You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or withdraw your consent. Write to us at the address below; we will reply within 30 days. If you believe your request was not handled properly, you may contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
