Full-time | Groupe Chanv | Saint-Cyrille-de-Wendover, Drummondville area
$50,000 to $65,000 per year, based on experience and skills
A good product starts with people who take their work to heart.
You like hands-on work, things done right and days when you can see the results of your efforts. You notice details, ask the right questions and look for ways to improve how things are done.
We’re looking for a reliable, resourceful person to help make our products and take their place on our production team.
About Groupe Chanv
Groupe Chanv brings together growing, processing, product development and commercialization around hemp and cannabis.
With Maison d’Herbes and Bleuh, we’re building distinct brand worlds with one shared goal: developing quality products and bringing more clarity to our consumers.
Your role
Take part in the production steps, from preparing materials through to packaging, according to needs and training received.
You’ll help ensure product quality, equipment performance and adherence to the production plan. Your attention and observations are as much a part of the job as your execution.
What you'll do
- Prepare the materials, supplies and equipment needed for operations.
- Carry out the processing, manufacturing, filling or packaging tasks assigned to you.
- Use equipment according to procedures and training received.
- Check quantities, appearance and the conformity of the work against established criteria.
- Accurately record production information and material movements.
- Spot discrepancies, losses or equipment issues and report them promptly.
- Clean equipment and keep work areas tidy and organized.
- Collaborate with the production, quality and maintenance teams.
- Suggest improvements to make work easier and reduce errors and losses.
The talent we're looking for
- Relevant experience in production, processing or a manufacturing environment.
- Rigor, punctuality and a good ability to follow procedures.
- Comfort with manual work and equipment.
- A good sense of observation and the reflex to report anything that seems off.
- The ability to work standing up and perform the physical handling tasks required by the role.
- Curiosity, resourcefulness and a good team spirit.
Experience in food processing, cosmetics or a regulated environment is an asset. Knowledge of hemp and cannabis is not a prerequisite.
New technologies and continuous improvement
We’re looking for someone open to new equipment, digital tools and improving how work gets done.
You’ll take part in using and evolving our tools, including GANDALF, sharing your observations and helping build simple, reliable production tracking.
Why join us
To take a direct part in making products that carry our brands. To learn alongside our teams, build your versatility and contribute to improving operations.
